ODU made a strategic decision to move our shared files, printing, desktop management and authentication infrastructures to Windows AD and LANDesk management suite. The changes are intended to put us in a position to provide greater functionality to our user community and greater flexibility in the administration of these systems.
On May 11th, our labs and student accounts will begin using the new systems. In mid-May OCCS will begin using the new systems, and by June we will begin scheduling to move Administrative Departments to the new systems. Since the migration requires users to login, we will begin scheduling Colleges early in the Fall Semester.
Since the Notes to Exchange Migration and the Office 2007 projects have become so closely integrated, this website is changing to address both needs. Please note that many new links have been added. You wil find materials on schedules and training. The rest of this site should provide you with more background and information.
